Offered to Boys & Girls 6 to 8 years of age

The Players’ Academy is a newly formed Santa Barbara, California based soccer academy delivered by Santa Barbara Soccer Club personnel held in conjunction with all area youth soccer organizations. The current make up of the Players’ Academy is designed for boys & girls ages 6 to 8 years of age  (Birth year BEFORE August 1, 2007) and is designed to offer players, parents and coaches a soccer educational platform for life.  The Players’ Academy will incorporate the Technical, Tactical, Physical and Mental aspects of player development and is committed to a ‘holistic’ approach to the player’s life long growth.  

All of this is accomplished through a carefully designed and administered curriculum with training held once a week.  The program will operate in conjunction with ALL area youth soccer associations. 1. To support these organizations and 2. Avoid schedule conflicts.  

Interested players will have the opportunity to come and experience the Players’ Academy curriculum first hand during the month of May, June & July 2013. All players will then be referred by the Academy Director to participate in one of our two fall Players’ Academy programs.
