Parents, this is a great opportunity for the young talented soccer player who wants to take his or her skills & competition to the next level.
Santa Barbara Soccer Club realizes just how important it is to nurture talent at the younger ages, while also preventing burn-out and encouraging the love of the game, hence we have developed a program that we hope, fits into the schedule of a 7 year old soccer athlete & their family.
Starting September ‘09, and running until the end of May ‘10, the under 8 Development Program will train once per week and play only friendly games starting in Spring. Emphasis will be placed solely on the development of the individual player.
Application Criteria / Procedure (please note: Limited places only)
* Players (Boys/Girls) must be born on or after Aug 1, 2000 and no later than Aug 1, 2001
* Players should have a genuine interest in playing soccer with SBSC at U9, prior playing experience & demonstrate a passion for the game.
Cost
The Under 8 program costs $250 per player (scholarships available)
All players receive:
* 9 months worth of training sessions
* minimum 4 Friendly games.
* Complete Uniform & Ball
